Abolition conversation talking points. Not all have to be used, but here are some that can be used:
- 20 babies are murdered in our state every day. This must not be allowed to continue another day.
- God commands legislators to establish justice.
- The U.S. and Louisiana Constitutions protect the rights to life and the right to the equal protection of the law.
- It’s time to stop regulating abortion and abolish it.
Answering Common Objections:
“The mother should never be punished for having an abortion.”
- This bill has nothing to do with punishing certain groups of people. All this bill does is make preborn children equal under law. To object to this bill on these grounds is to deny that preborn children are equal to us.

“It's not the right time for a bill like this.”
- Justice delayed is justice denied.
- There is never a Biblically justified reason to put off establishing justice for those who are being murdered.
"This bill is unnecessary as Roe v. Wade might be overturned in the next few weeks and we already have a trigger bill in Louisiana."
- The trigger bill provides woefully inadequate penalties for abortion which treat preborn children as less valuable than all of us.
- We do not have to wait for Roe v. Wade to obey Christ, uphold the Constitution, and save babies from being murdered.
“We can’t just ignore Roe v. Wade.”
- You can either obey God and the Constitution, or you can obey Roe v. Wade.
- Many States ignored the Gonzales v. Raich Supreme Court opinion to legalize marijuana.

"This bill would also abolish IVF and certain forms of birth control."
- All of us know that life starts at conception. Anything that causes the death of a human being from that point forward is murder, and that includes IVF clinics creating and discarding embryos and that includes hormonal birth controls which cause newly conceived humans to not implant in the womb.
